Although we are not exactly for sure when the Department was first officially organized the first recorded call Blossom VFD responded to was in 1916 durring the Great Paris Fire that destroyed the City of Paris. The Blossom Volunteers of the time responded with only a Bucket Brigade and a hand fill of men.
Since that time we have accomplished may things for our community. Blossom VFD serves its community of approx. 2500 citizens with two pumpers, a quick attack unit, and one First Responder Vehicle, 24hours a day 7 days a week with strictly volunteer members. We currently have 19 Active members on our roster and will be posting a virtual tour of our station and apperatus as soon as we can. So Come back often and see how we have improved the site!
